Good afternoon. We have very good news.

The funds have been deposited into the clinic's account. We've submitted the documents to the visa center.
This means we're as close as we can get to our goal—saving Sofia. We're hoping the medical visa won't be delayed too long, but given the holidays, we're not holding our breath.
Sofia is feeling fine. Her blood counts are low, but she's developed a viral infection—she's coughing, so we're giving her inhalations.

Sophia starts and stops the nebulizer herself. She's even learned how to assemble it for inhalations. At 3 years old, assembling a device that adults don't always understand the first time is pretty cool.
