Lana Sherstobitova's News
Good afternoon. Today we were hospitalized for the third round of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The doctor determined that we need to complete as many cycles as necessary to ensure that everything is clear at the follow-up examination, with no fluctuations in plasma levels and IDH levels. Only then will we proceed with the bone marrow transplant. A PET/CT scan was scheduled before this round, but it was cancelled because the peripheral catheter misaligned again, causing a vein to bulge. The poorly functioning veins are most likely a combination of several factors: they have become deformed from chemotherapy, my young age, and their unique structure. It was decided to continue with the third round of chemotherapy, and after that, the doctor will replace the PET/CT scan with a MiBG scan.
