Good afternoon! News about Shamin Mark 🙌🏻 On October 2nd, we completed the fourth round of chemotherapy. Mark tolerated it well, but he has severe stomach pain at home, which is a side effect of the methotrexate. 😞 Since we've already completed four rounds of chemotherapy, according to protocol, we now need to check the tumor's response to chemotherapy. Considering the holidays, we were miraculously scheduled for an MRI on October 3rd at 6:00 AM. We had the MRI, and Mark is a smart guy; he calmly endured the examination and lay still for 40 minutes. 🙌🏻 Now we've been sent home; we need to get some tests on Sunday. We're eagerly awaiting the MRI results, as they determine the treatment plan going forward. God willing, the treatment is progressing well and the tumor has shrunk. 🙏🏻 Next, the orthopedic surgeon will tell us what he thinks about the surgery. As a reminder, in Russia we were told they would remove half of his pelvis and there's almost no chance the child will walk. We're waiting to hear from the doctors here 🙌🏻

Mark dobrze ją zniósł, ale w domu odczuwa silny ból brzucha, który jest skutkiem ubocznym metotreksatu. 😞 Ponieważ zgodnie z protokołem ukończyliśmy już cztery rundy chemioterapii, teraz musimy sprawdzić reakcję guza na chemioterapię. Biorąc pod uwagę święta, cudownie zaplanowaliśmy rezonans magnetyczny na 3 października o 6:00 rano. Przeszliśmy rezonans, a Mark jest mądrym facetem; spokojnie zniósł badanie i leżał nieruchomo przez 40 minut. 🙌🏻 Teraz zostaliśmy wysłani do domu; w niedzielę musimy wykonać kilka badań. Z niecierpliwością czekamy na wyniki rezonansu magnetycznego, ponieważ one określą dalszy plan leczenia. Jeśli Bóg pozwoli, leczenie postępuje dobrze, a guz się zmniejszył. 🙏🏻 Następnie chirurg ortopeda powie nam, co myśli o operacji.
