Our first week in Rome has passed. It's been busy and unusual, but we're here, and that's the main thing. We met with the doctors, had tests, and completed the first examinations. We'll be informed of the results and further treatment once we've completed all the prescribed procedures. For now, we're waiting and trusting the specialists.

Sofia is feeling well—as well as possible in this new environment. But she misses home very much, saying, "Krasnoyarsk is the best city." And she wants to get back as soon as possible. I understand her; I miss home myself, the familiar surroundings and loved ones. But we know that the most important thing now is to be here, under the reliable care of the doctors at Bambino Gesù. This gives me peace of mind and confidence that we're on the right path.
