Today our day began not with breakfast, but with the hospital walls. Here we are again.

But the hardest thing today is the bone marrow puncture. This is already the fourth bone marrow puncture over the past 1.5 months. Every time it's a hell of a pain in the bones. And then they did a lumbar puncture, after which Elisha had to lie upside down for 2 hours, due to the fact that chemotherapy was injected into the bone marrow. When he woke up from the anesthesia, he asked to drink and eat. It was impossible to insert. I fed him lying down. Another test for the child.

And you know, looking at a child, I understand what real fortitude is. He endures what not every adult can endure. He fights despite being hurt every day to save his life.

We are very tired. But we don't give up. The path to victory over oncology is littered with these punctures, IVs and hours of pain and immobility.
